
An emerging UK Bank focused on mortgage lending to corporate customers wanted to implement IAM capability to offer seamless yet highly secure registration and authentication capability. They wanted to have a single vendor/platform to provide the full stack of Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solution in the cloud rather than creating dependencies with multiple vendors/products. They wanted to choose a product that has already been proven to scale automatically for large number of users and flexible enough to adapt to current and future business requirements. The product should be compliant with industry standards specifications/protocols around IAM and should provide easy access to users from all supported channels (i.e. web and mobile). They also had a regulatory requirement to be compliant for PSD2/OpenBanking standards set by the CMA so that their customers can easily consent/control access by third party providers (TPPs) to their bank account.
The Bank kicked-off a “build-the-bank” project which included building an IAM Platform wholly deployed using a DevOps model in the cloud using CIAM Stack. The objective for the IAM solution was to build the best in class registration and authentication capabilities which are highly secure. Following products were used to implement the platform which exceeded customer expectations.
Trevonix was jointly involved (along with few other partners) in delivering CIAM Platform and implementing customer use-cases for the Web and Mobile channel. It had played Architect, Designer, DevOps and Developer role for the delivery of the solution.


The bank satisfying the Global IAM requirements of the enterprise and achieving the regulatory/compliance requirement for PSD2/OpenBanking. It helped secure user data and manage user identities effectively. The new platform would automatically scale to support additional user traffic required for busy periods and much needed to support specific marketing campaigns. It resulted in improved customer satisfaction and helped decreased the time to market for deploying new features/services. The IAM solution in the cloud helped reduce IT operational cost for the bank and also help build the Global view for customers across different group entities to help cross-sell various other products effectively.
