Field employees were distributed across multiple locations and did not have corporate email addresses, making identity onboarding challenging. Additionally, their HR data was managed by a third-party provider, creating further complexity in identity management.
Corporate employees were also spread across multiple untrusted Active Directory domains, with identity and password management handled locally. This environment resulted in numerous credentials across systems, increasing helpdesk calls for password resets and creating a fragmented user experience.
The global nature of IT services further increased the complexity, as users had to manage multiple usernames and passwords across various applications and platforms.
Odeon required a solution that could simplify authentication while improving security and user experience across its distributed workforce.
Following recommendations from the Trevonix IAM Architecture team, Odeon selected a cloud-based IAM solution to provide secure, standards-based federated single sign-on across its global IT services.
The cloud IAM platform created a single authentication experience for users regardless of their geographic location.
The system allowed users to authenticate against their local identity sources, typically Active Directory within their regional office, while accessing global applications and services.
This approach eliminated the need to create and manage separate global identities and credentials for employees.
The platform provided a single authentication layer across multiple countries, including Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, significantly reducing identity complexity across the organisation.
Trevonix designed, implemented, deployed, and delivered the solution to Odeon within 12 weeks.

Employees can now access IT services using the same credentials they use for applications in their local offices.
The solution significantly reduced the number of credentials managed within the organisation, leading to improvements in user experience and a faster onboarding process for new employees.
Field employees are now provisioned into Workplace by Facebook through federated authentication and single sign-on.
The implementation also strengthened the organisation’s security posture by introducing improved authentication processes. Password resets across the organisation have been replaced with a single process using Push MFA, simplifying credential management.
Following the success of the deployment, individual offices began extending the platform to secure additional applications and services across the organisation.
